The
Kings Garden at Fort Ticonderoga
Mitchell & Associates assisted Past Designs, Landscape Preservationist, in the preparation of a Master Plan for the historic gardens associated with Fort Ticonderoga dating back to its beginning, providing site design for public access, parking, walking paths and trails. The project entailed a preservation plan that addressed the various elements associated with the development periods in the forts history and to provide the public with access and an interpretive program for a self-guided tour. The Master Plan identified short term and long term management requirements and recommendations for the property. Landscape architectural services included an evaluation of existing gardens, recommendations of arboricultural activities and preliminary design of site improvements. | |||
