Wainwright Athletic Complex

Mitchell & Associates was retained by the City of South Portland to work with the Parks and Recreation Department to prepare an Athletic and Recreation Master Plan for Wainwright Athletic Complex. The site is a 140 acre former sod farm off Highland Avenue in South Portland.

The second phase of the program included full design, preparation of construction documents and construction administration for Phase 1. The athletic complex includes the development of baseball fields, softball fields, field hockey fields, soccer fields, lacrosse fields, multi-purpose fields, a new recreation building, and a 214 space parking lot.
