State of Maine Office Building

The State of Maine Office Building consists of a new 75,000 s.f. office building, home to the Department of Health and Human Services, the Department of Labor and Department of Veterans’ Services.
Mitchell & Associates prepared the Master Plan, site design, coordinated local and state permitting and provided construction administration services. The office building was a fast-track project — design, permitting and construction occurred in a thirteen-month time period.
Project was recipient of 2015 AGC Build Maine Award.

Freeport Public Safety Building
Freeport, Maine
Mitchell & Associates was selected to provide site design services for a new 16,044 SF public safety building to house the fire, rescue and police department . The project involved the redefinition of site access and circulation, parking areas, site improvements and local Planning Board approval.
South Portland Community Center consists of a new 45,000 square foot community center addition to an existing municipal swimming pool facility. The community center, designed by CWS Architects, includes a senior center, teen center, full service pre-school center, gymnasium, raised walking track, and offices for the city's recreation department. Mitchell & Associates provided site design development, approval documentation, permitting and final construction documents.
